On August 8, 2025, a group of students from Tsinghua University, China, visited our campus. During their visit, they toured several research laboratories and engaged in academic and cultural exchange with our faculty members and students. We sincerely thank the visiting students and all those involved in making the event a success.
On August 5, 2025, twelve students enrolled in Nuclear Fusion Research Education Program visited National Institute for Fusion Science (NIFS) in Toki City, Gifu. During the visit, they toured the institute’s large-scale experimental facility—the Large Helical Device (LHD)—and gained valuable insights into various aspects of fusion research. These included the principles and implementation of plasma diagnostics and heating methods, as well as the mindset required to maintain a safe and high-quality experimental environment.
